Canon EOS R6 Mark II (Body Only): eBay vs Amazon price

About the Canon EOS R6 Mark II (Body Only)

Canon announced the EOS R6 Mark II in November 2022. It uses a 24.2MP full-frame sensor, shoots up to 40 frames per second with the electronic shutter and 12fps with the mechanical one, and has in-body stabilization rated up to 8 stops with some lenses. Video tops out at 4K 60p, oversampled from 6K, without a crop.

Event, sports and wildlife photographers bought it in large numbers, and many are now selling it to move to the R6 Mark III, which Canon released in late 2025. That keeps eBay stocked with clean bodies. New units are still sold, often with Canon instant rebates, so the gap between new and used shifts with each promotion.

Where the savings are

With the Mark III out, a used R6 Mark II is one of the better values in full-frame. Check the shutter count, since a sports shooter's body may have seen heavy use. Both card slots take SD cards, so you will not need pricey CFexpress media. Compare the used price with Amazon's body-only price during Canon promotions, when the gap can shrink.
