Google Pixel 9 (128GB): eBay vs Amazon price

About the Google Pixel 9 (128GB)

The Pixel 9 is Google's mainstream phone from August 2024. It runs the Tensor G4 chip with 12GB of RAM, has a 6.3-inch Actua display, and pairs a 50MP main camera with a 48MP ultra wide. Like other recent Pixels, it gets seven years of OS and security updates, along with Google's camera and Gemini features as they roll out.

Pixels usually lose value faster than iPhones, which works in a buyer's favor. Google and Amazon both discount new units often, and those sales drag used prices down with them. On eBay you will find plenty of unlocked phones and many carrier units too, and the difference matters if you plan to switch networks.

Where the savings are

Pixel prices react strongly to sales, so a discounted new Pixel 9 on Amazon can land close to a used one. Check that first. On eBay, unlocked units with a clean screen and the original box command the most. Carrier versions cost less but may be locked to one network. A storage upgrade adds less to the resale price than good cosmetic condition does.
