Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen): eBay vs Amazon price

About the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen)

Bose released the second-generation QuietComfort Ultra Headphones in October 2025. They keep the original's look and folding design but add wired lossless audio over USB-C, a Cinema mode for Immersive Audio, and longer battery life of up to 30 hours with noise canceling on. Bose also retuned the sound and smoothed out how the noise canceling reacts to sudden loud sounds.

The list price stayed the same as the first model, and both generations are common on resale sites, which makes listings easy to mix up. Because the 2nd Gen is recent, used prices tend to sit fairly close to new, and an Amazon sale can close the gap entirely. Color names help: Driftwood Sand and Midnight Violet are 2nd Gen colors.

Where the savings are

With the 2nd Gen still fairly new, the savings on a used pair are modest, and a new pair from Amazon comes with the full Bose warranty. On eBay, confirm the generation in both the title and the photos, because first-gen units sell for less and lack USB-C audio. Flattened ear cushions and a weak battery are the usual problems, and Bose sells replacement cushions.
